Integrity in Public Service Pledge for Presidential Candidates

If elected, I pledge that my administration will —



1. Conduct governance – “the people’s business” – in the open and facilitate responsible oversight by respecting the Freedom of Information Act and keeping vital documents in the public domain;

2. Support public servants who tell the truth and have zero tolerance for appointees who retaliate or condone retaliation against whistleblowers; and

3. Protect scientists who report inconvenient truths and remove from office anyone who manipulates public agency science for political ends.
