"Because of the Lloyd recusal, Bill Wolfe, president of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, demanded that commissioners William J. Brown and D’Arcy Rohan Green recuse themselves based on ownership of oil and gas industry stocks listed on their financial disclosure forms.

Each of these commissioners refused to step aside, saying that on the advice of the attorney general’s office, there was no need for their recusal. "
