Jonathan Lundgren, Former USDA Entomologist: A Bee Expert With His Integrity Intact

YouTube video

When USDA’s research arm tried to stifle his research on the effects of pesticides on honey bees and the environment, Jonathan fought back. With PEER’s help, he invoked the agency’s own Scientific Integrity rules, which say that research cannot be suppressed merely because it is inconvenient for Big Ag and Big Chem. It was a tough battle but he was able to extract himself with his integrity intact. PEER guided him through and now he has his own research farm in South Dakota, Blue Dasher Farm. We have continued to work together since to highlight the risks of pesticides to bees and the environment. Jonathan’s insights are too important to suppress.
